Whatever you do, don't just include the poem to your
mother. Your mom deserves some personalization on the card after all of the
years of changing dirty dippers:-)
If your sending a card in the mail or giving it to her in
person it's a good idea to use a piece of scrap paper to do up a rough draft
before you start writing on the card. Some cards can be relatively
expensive, if you don't shop at the local dollar store like I do.
Start off with something like " Dear Mom, " or
something simple like just " Mom, "
Great ideas to include in the card are past experiences of
special moments that you spent together. Tell her how you felt when you used
to help her plant the garden in the spring or visiting the park every Sunday
afternoon.
From there tell her about how special she is to you and
maybe a bit what your relationship means to you.
A nice way to finish off the card to your mom is to tell her
how much she's tough you over the years and how it's shaped the person
you've become. You may also want to finish the letter off the letter by
telling her that you hope to be just like her (When you grow up).
To conclude, tell your mom that you love her! " Love (Your
Name)".
